South Bend's No. 397 dial debuted in the early 1900s and still resonates today with its timeless design and classic Arabic numerals. Sophisticated yet versatile, it embodies a time when pocket watches were their owners' most prized possession.
Each of our watches is assembled by hand in the U.S.A. and features a modern interpretation of the hand-wound mechanical movements found in South Bend pocket watches of the early twentieth century. The decorated movement is proudly displayed in through the case back, along with the highly decorated plating and South Bend branding.
Our high quality leather straps are handmade in South Bend, Indiana by 3Bravo Leather. We obsess over details, which is why we include a purple stitch the inside of each strap as a nod to the South Bend Watch Company's tagline: The Watch with the Purple Ribbon.
