South Bend's No. 397 dial was a show stopper. Understated at first glance, a second look reveals dreamy Arabic numerals that add a layer of sophistication to the legible dial with individual minute markers. An oversized seconds dial at six o'clock is the icing on the cake of this iconic design.
Each of our watches is assembled by hand in the U.S.A. and features a modern interpretation of the hand-wound mechanical movements found in South Bend pocket watches of the early 1900s. The inner workings of this ticking time machine can be seen in action through the exhibition case back, along with the highly decorated plating and South Bend branding on each movement.
Our high quality leather straps are handmade in South Bend, Indiana by 3Bravo Leather. Details matter, which is why we include a purple stitch the inside of each strap as a nod to South Bend's tagline: The Watch with the Purple Ribbon.
