Inspired by one of South Bend's most popular models in the year 1923, the timeless design of the 1923 Dial speaks for itself. The red numerals on the outside of the dial add a splash of color to compliment the handsome and legible black hour numerals further inward. And like its pocket watch predecessors, seconds are displayed at the six o'clock position with a seconds hand beating away at 21,600 beats per hour.
Each of our watches is assembled by hand in the U.S.A. and features a modern interpretation of the hand-wound mechanical movements found in South Bend pocket watches of the early twentieth century. The decorated movement is proudly displayed in through the case back, along with the highly decorated plating and South Bend branding.
Our high quality leather straps are handmade in South Bend, Indiana by 3Bravo Leather. We obsess over details, which is why we include a purple stitch the inside of each strap as a nod to the South Bend Watch Company's tagline: The Watch with the Purple Ribbon.
